Clues for Your Hike
- Enter the walking path by going past the large gate, with the dam on your right side.
- Walk up the gravel path to the top of the dam and then enter the path along the left side of the lake.
- You will see light blue blazes on trees as it goes uphill.
- As this path goes up and down hills, just continue to follow the blue blazes.
- You will pass a post on your right that says 1.5 – keep going.
- Pass a bench and a sign that says Hardwood Forest next 0.5 miles.
- Cross over the bridge as the trail wraps around the lake.
- You will pass a bench on your right and eventually another Hardwood Forest sign. The post will be ahead on your left, just before another bridge.
- Turn around and retrace your steps back to the parking area.
