    Clues for Your Hike

    1. Park in the parking area near the daycare center and the gate. There may be a large white bin to place flags for proper disposal.
    2. Start on the path and walk to the next gate. Go straight past the gate and cross over Pine Run.
    3. Follow the path, taking the time to read the signs. You will pass two gazebos on your right at the top of the hill.
    4. There is a very cool Naval propeller on display on your left and an anchor on your left.
    5. At the Captain Leon Lock Veterans Memorial circular seating area, turn left and then take the second right onto the path. You will see a large tank on your right. Turn right on the path toward the tank.
    6. Follow the path around and at the last bench on your right, the post will be on your left.
    7. Continue on the path in the same direction and when you reach the next junction, turn right, passing the flagpole. Keep right and return to the parking area by retracing your steps.
